Tough game, but not as tough as Monday. While the top 3 are Championship teams in waiting, Lincoln are a good L1 on a roll, not dissimilar to our Championship McDermott teams or Barnsley the year they pipped up us to the play offs. But facing a team of similar ability who are in form, full of confidence and belief is always a tough proposition.

Considering their form I would take a point now if you offered it to me but do think we can win, their unbeaten run has to end at some point. Quite a turnaround considering when we played them earlier in the season they were in no form and we were incredibly unlucky to only draw the game.

Agree a draw would be good, a win fantastic. I'd say 3 more points makes survival very very likely and any more points after that just pushing us towards mathematical certainty. The next 3 games are basically 3 chances to finish the job without creating highly pressurised games against Burton and Blackpool.

Today's referee only joined the league list in December after relocating from the US where, last season, he took charge of 21 games in the MLS showing 85 yellow cards and no red cards. He was most card-happy in the match between Orlando City and Columbus Crew (2-1) when he showed 9 yellow cards.

Therefore presume he is on the lenient side, anyway he can't be worse than the general tripe of officials we've been suffering this season.

This will be his 17th FL game and his first for both Reading and Lincoln.

Will be interesting to see how a referee who hasn't gone through the FA's referee coaching performs compared to one that has. I believe a lot of the poor refereeing we're seeing is down to FA training.

I’d love this to be a comfortable 3-1 home win, but fearing a defeat. I’d take an entertaining 2-2 draw right now.

If he is crap we'll just blame Pepe.

All runs, good and bad, end eventually. May as well be today.

Obviously with their form and the way we’ve been playing recently this should be a Lincoln win but don’t worry lads I’ve saved the day by putting £20 on a Lincoln win.
My bets on Reading games never come up wether betting for or against so I’ve gauranteed us some points.
Your Welcome :D

Don’t be a prat!
I fully expect us to lose this one as you do every single game.
It’s a win win. If we lose I get £47 compensation if we win I’m happy I’ve invested £20 to jinx myself and Reading get some points.

Elliott in the middle? Good!! Wasted out wide, defo does better through the middle. Will be interesting to see how he does along side wing.
