Tom Eaves. I was convinced he 'always scores against us' but then did some digging and found he doesn't. Before today I can only find one goal - against one of our youth teams - in 17/18 season. Over the years there have been (too) many, so inviting others to suggest theirs I'm going to go Mick Butler (Barnsley) and more recently Billy Sharp (too many clubs to mention, including us on loan at one stage). Not checked their stats, but just hearing their names is unsettling. Any others?

Thanks AR. Thought it might be my imagination...but I remember going home on the bus along the Tilehurst Road after being stuffed at EP with people arguing about how many/often he'd scored. Long Pre-Google days when Real Facts(ssss) weren't
so immediately accessible.
(Although of course things are so much better now.....)

And then there’s those that have a great scoring record that never do anything against Reading. Eg. Jordan Rhodes has only nabbed a couple in countless games against Reading and I think one of those was a penalty.

The game at Elm Park was the only one I have ever left early. Even then I didn't want to go but my Dad insisted. It wasn't easy to get out, as the gates were closed to prevent people sneaking in. George Jones hardly ever scored against anyone else but always against us

Whatever the situation before Strap left I think in general the correlation between those who have facts on hand and those who make the most noise is fairly clear….
There are others on here who have superb and accurate RFC knowledge and they don’t tend to be the ones making the most noise.
