That would be the fat lady ready to sing then. Just a little deeper than normal. :)

I like to think that the current trend of improved performance will continue. If not for a whole ninety minutes then for more extended periods in the game. Stockport are overwhelming favourites and this suits us. 2:2.

So if that pattern continues we'll only lose 2-1 right? Then on for a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture.
That 1-5 game in 1998 was just an utterly miserable night; not only was the football dire, but it absolutely lashed down before, during and after the game......hated every second of the experience.
Agree, I was there, even got a complimentary ticket from Trevor Morley's mate so had a seat undercover and must admit, felt sorry for the tiny away contingent getting soaked. Seem to remember a few players arguing amongst themselves at one point as well.

I'm not sure that Stockport are quite as strong as they were last season but our defence, never that strong, will have to be very much on their game for us to get a positive result.

They really did batter us twice last year though - was men against boys in both games
Do we? Think we still look pretty toothless and powderpuff, especially away from home
I don’t think we look great by any means but we’ve been scoring goals - 2 against Orient, Barnsley, Wimbledon, Wycombe…
My point is, because we're so vulnerable at the back, we need score at least 3 goals for any chance of winning!

Ok, and that's a fair comment to an extent. But it isn't what you actually said originally.

Assuming Fraser injured

Would much rather seen Kelvin than Kyweera but otherwise it’s prob as good as we can do atm

That side's ok given who's out, as long as it's 4-2-3-1.

Dorsett or Jacob at CB is a toss up. Kyerewaa will definitely be LW and Doyle centre though.

Possibly just playing the odds that we're unlikely to be looking at trying to protect a lead, so more attacking options are better.

Solid start. Kyerewaa having a couple of nearly moments. Bit too keen on trying to flick it over someone though.

Dorsett does seem.to give us better cover for the ball in behind.

Stockport do not look as good as last season (of course we can still lose though)

13 games in all comps, 1 clean sheet. we need 2 goals a game to even have a chance.
