With all this week’s new signings we should have a squad to compete.

Nice one
Now
19:27
Stevenage vs Reading

What a prediction
Said it’d be cr@p and/or boring and guess what it’s cr@p and boring (for both teams), oh well I suppose there’s a chance to progress. Just wish we could get that PL side at home. Perhaps we’re destined get gubbed again by Arteta’s “set piece experiment” in a later round.

Hopefully we'll put a strong team out as we don't play on the following Saturday.

Just wonder if they split it north and south, whether they should also try and seed teams so smaller clubs get a better chance to get a big boy.

When was the last time we got an exciting cup draw?

Or at least a big club away so we can get £££ gate receipts and probable TV money?

Man Utd in the season we got relegated maybe? Although that wasn't an exciting draw as we'd already played them twice in the previous four or five years at that point.

Although it's probably worth considering how many options for an exciting draw we had this time. Probably only Tottenham; West Ham; Brentford; and Chelsea away would've fit that category (perhaps Tottenham and Chelsea at home too). The first three simply because they would've been new grounds for us.
