Following Makins departure a full back would be a good addition.

He seems like a good athlete and we could do with some more pace at the back. He wouldn't be the only player that failed at Villa and that certainly doesn't necessarily make him a bad player.

His nickname amongst some fans at Villa apparently was "Useless De La Cruz".

They say he is better going forward then defending and is very inconsistent.

Would be a good addition to the squad in my opinion, and on a free too, then why not sign him up for the season, and with Bikey coming in on loan too, we still have plenty of pennies for potentially another couple of signings and a much healthier looking squad.

I think he'll come in and Cruz through the season. This team has a heart and Soel, we just need to get our Kits-on and although the season will be Long, I'm Shorey we can stay up.

He played a holding type roll. He sat in front of the defense for the most part and IIRC, Coppell played about with the tactics a little mid-game to experiment.
