Generally speaking, the banning orders have absolutely sod all to do with the lack of singing at games. Guess I'm a twonk too. Never mind.

I believe we are suffering from the fact that the large groups of people who would normally sit with each other/buy their tickets together are being segregated by the (fair in my opinion) ticketing systems we have in place.

2 of your mates can buy tickets Weds-Friday, 2 can buy from Saturday to Tuesday then the rest thereafter if there are any tickets left.

The freedom of choice to move around the away end and get into larger pockets/groups has diminished somewhat and that my friends is why we may be prone to lacking away end atmosphere this season.

Teams like Man Utd / Liverpool etc have probably been so used to this being the case, that the regular away fans have more than likely adapted to it and found ways to make a constantly loud noise.

I was in the front row below pitch level so could hardly see anyway and then the photographers were in front of me so they impaired my view even more if I sit down so I stand up, then a few minutes after kick off the guy behind me tells me to sit down, so I sit down for a a few seconds and then there's some action I can't see so I stand up again, then the bloke behind me reports me to the steward who is at the bottom of the stairs to the left who then says if I keep standing i'll get thrown out so I ask if there's space anywhere else because I can't see and he just goes "NO".

Saw that, I think the photographer got suitably chastised to the point of him being pretty embarrassed about it.
