Not so sure myself. My dad and brother are Blackburn fans. Derbyshire is a home-town boy and they need all their strikers in the relegation run-in. If he left it wouldn't be popular with their fans.

Derbyshire can certainly finish but he is a bit lightweight.

Taylor from Oldham is a good shout i think,i still wonder about Surman too but that is most probably down to players leaving RFC during the window. The reason i mentioned Mullins is that apparently he has been kept on the back burner and should we make an approach he would go- i have a colleague at work who scouts for Crystal Palace and knows both Coppell and Mullins very well and has done scouting for Coppell in the past.He thinks that Mullins would fit in with the way reading play and his links to the area are strong.Though i would agree centre mid is somewhere we dont need extra cover.

Something i have noticed over the past few sessions is the Reading website update service

they normally advertise the service at the begining of the transfer window to get texts direct to you phone... but i have noticed they also re-advertise the service about a day before they announce a transfer or have something in the pipeline

i noticed on the website that it was up there again saying "get all the transfer new first" is this a sign there is something going to happen in the next day or so ??

its happened every tranfer window for the last 2-3 seasons

i agree with you, just a hunch they might look at him as a backup plan if they can't get who they want. That silly time of year where clubs buy for the sake of buying and 'just in case' it's where the transfer window is seriously flawed and only helps teams in the Prem.
