Because they pay ridiculous amounts of money to secure rights to air matches when they want, which filters down to the clubs.

I suppose it's a good thing for fans who don't actually travel to most games.

I go to all the games I can, so if that's a dig then kindly feck off.

All I'm saying is given the amount of money that they pay, and the amount of money that our club recieves from TV revenue which allows us to keep players such as Doyle, BK and Marek in the squad, they are allowed to move the game if they so desire. Just like if you go to a restaurant, and you pay good money for your food, you are allowed to tell the chef how well done you want your steak.

In much the same vein, this is the first time a moved match has actually bothered me personally as we were intending to combine the Saturday game with spending the weekend in Cambridge watching Gary Moore in concert. Since we haven't yet got tickets for either, we now won't be doing any of it...

As usual the league fcuk the real fans over so they can make a few extra quid from Sky. I'm really pissed of with this one having already booked train tickets and a hotel for the weekend!
