Oh, I'll try and find out what I can. I was hoping we'd go in for Lee Croft.

About 20 times. He can't cross and is woeful in front of goal. His main skill is pressuring his full back and running a long way up the wing with the ball to no effect which is why he would catch the eye if you didn't know much about football.Deathy wrote:Three times at Carrow Rd this season when visiting family. How about yourself?Norfolk Royal wrote:Really? How many times would you say you've seen him play?Deathy wrote:Croft isn't crap at all.
He's very highly regarded at Norwich.
LOL at you reckoning you know more about Lee Croft than me.Deathy wrote:LOLz at over 23,000 Norwich fans not agreeing with you.
LOL at you LOLing. I don't claim to know more about him than anyone. I know we haven't approached Norwich for him, and I know, or am told rather, that he is Derby bound. The fact you claim he is crap is just pure ignorance. Perhaps you should have seen more of Kebe and Hunt than Croft this season?Norfolk Royal wrote:LOL at you reckoning you know more about Lee Croft than me.Deathy wrote:LOLz at over 23,000 Norwich fans not agreeing with you.
We were actually talking about Reading being interested in Clingan, not Croft, and I am well aware he is going to Derby.Deathy wrote:LOL at you LOLing. Croft is an excellent player with a lot of promise. If you want pure quality with no faults, that'll set you back around £40,000,000. Ta
Like? I share an opinion on those I've seen, sure. Guess what, this is a forum!Ian Royal wrote:You belief you know all about players you've never seen never ceases to amaze me.
Neither will I.Deathy wrote:Both players have been discussed. Stop your fecking whining ffs! Why you're involved with carrots and not scouting for footballers I'll never know.

What? He's a winger, and? You never rated Gilkesy because of his goalscoring record?Norfolk Royal wrote:Lee Croft - nine goals in 131 games.
Gilkes scored 52 goals in 400 odd appearances for Reading which is a better ratio than Croft, but that's not really the point. Gilkes was considerably quicker than Croft and brought more to the party in terms of assists I would imagine.Deathy wrote:What? He's a winger, and? You make him sound like Jimmy Kebe, Deathy.Deathy wrote:Gilkes was pacey, but his crossing was more often woeful than reliable. But the way he knocked the ball past his marker and beat him down the left was a joy to behold. Gilkes wasn't as great as many think, but he was a favourite for the way he beat his man and he was exciting, as well as frustrating.
Lol @ 23, 000 Norwich fans agreeing with him, but still voting him player of the season. Probably why they got relegated.Deathy wrote:LOLz at over 23,000 Norwich fans not agreeing with you.
