Shocked Jason Beresford claimed Reading striker Leroy Lita attacked him after a night out clubbing.

The £1million England Under-21 player handed himself over to cops after van driver Jason, 24, made a formal complaint.

He was arrested on suspicion of GBH and was held for five hours in custody before being bailed.
