There will be plenty of fans who for good reasons can't make it to the game and this is a bonus for them.
And the announcement this time has come late enough not to affect ticket sales much - other than walk-up on the night. But it sets a precedent and an expectation this will happen again in similar circumstances.
And it's happened even when RFC / SUFC are bending over backwards on ticket prices.
