Correct. It was something he insisted on when we agreed to sign him. He was a smart cookie who knew he was coming to us as a development step where he'd get games to show the footballing world what he could do, and didn't want to have anything in his contract that might inhibit or reduce the value of a transfer from us.

If we'd played hardball and insisted on a sell-on clause, he'd never have signed for us.
