I suppose Ben Hamer is probably the only one left so you can have 1 sub!marlowuk wrote:For no reason whatsoever (except having too much time on my hands), I looked at the possibility of creating a full team of ex-Reading players (including loanees) from the current Premiere League squads. I make no claims of greatness for this side but here is what I came up with. Can you do better?
A. McCarthy (Saints)
A Mariappa (Watford)
R Bertrand (Saints)
N Ake (Bournemouth)
N Chalobah (Watford)
M Antonio (West Ham)
G Sigurdsson (Everton)
D Williams (Huddersfield)
M Vydra (Burnley)
G Murray (Brighton)
S Long (Saints)
I know it's not that balanced between right and left but have I missed anyone out?

Morrison always felt like the one that got away to me.URZZZZ wrote:Sean Morrison?
Not sure where Piazon/Oxford are
Bacuna
Mapps was pretty good to be fair to him. If Palace didn't keep oxf*rd about he would have gotten a good run in the team. Ake and Mawson are both slightly better than Morrison.linkenholtroyal wrote:Morrison always felt like the one that got away to me.URZZZZ wrote:Sean Morrison?

He always seemed like a good player and he was just coming good and we let him go to Cardiff. I would give my left arm for a centre back like that to still be playing for us.
I forgot about Morrison and Bacuna but not sure I'd change anyone for them. Piazon spent a few seasons on loan to Fulham doing quite well but now plays abroad somewhere. Oxford is playing in Germany.URZZZZ wrote:Sean Morrison?

Your guessing it is that level, for all we know it could be bottom of the championship levelsandman wrote:We already knew McNulty can score at a level equivalent to League 2.

We don't know if he would score at the bottom of the Championship as he wasn't given a real chance. Most of his appearances were as a sub.
Prove it is exactly League 2 level and not bottom of the championship or top of League 1 levelsandman wrote:super darren caskey wrote:Your guessing it is that level, for all we know it could be bottom of the championship levelsandman wrote:We already knew McNulty can score at a level equivalent to League 2.

Half my family is Scottish pal. I'm well aware of the standard of the SPL, watched it many times and am currently watching Dundee vs Celtic.
Try again.
gotta agree with this, even Kevin Doyle got given a decent run to get his scoring boots on.super darren caskey wrote:Your guessing it is that level, for all we know it could be bottom of the championship levelsandman wrote:We already knew McNulty can score at a level equivalent to League 2.
