It'll be Warnock, he'll take us down, and then he'll retire having finally got the last laugh.NathStPaul wrote:Someone draw up a list of out of work Portuguese managers. It will be one of them.
Was on Facebook. I read it as they knew the vitriol is slightly worse on Twitter so didn't bother.genome wrote:Club never tweeted the usual post-match interview with Pauno either. I reckon it's done.
I'd take Nuno Espirito Santo here tbf.NathStPaul wrote:Someone draw up a list of out of work Portuguese managers. It will be one of them.
Not sure. I think the smugness he would achieve by keeping us up and rescuing us from the abyss will add another 10 years on to his life.genome wrote:It'll be Warnock, he'll take us down, and then he'll retire having finally got the last laugh.NathStPaul wrote:Someone draw up a list of out of work Portuguese managers. This is true. It would be the ultimate kick in the teeth for us to get out wish finally, but he be replaced by another random from an obscure league.NathStPaul wrote:The problem is I doubt the owner or CEO know who Neil Warnock is, they don't know anyone competent managers who know the Championship. It is likely a very attractive proposition for Warnock. It’s his last season in management, would like to go out on a high, quality squad of underachievers, ok commute and chance to leave a legacy as a hero at a club where most fans hated him.
This has been me since the the Fulham 'match'.Brogue wrote:

Yeah obviously sacking him and his crew won't get us any penalties. The question is does then paying for a new crew cost us?Hound wrote:Is that because it doesn’t actually cost us any more to sack because he can just go on gardening…..etc etcBrogue wrote:RFCLatest (@RFC Latest) Tweeted: Reading will not receive a further points deduction should they sack manager Veljko Paunović - Alan Nixon

So could we just promote someone internally?Millsy wrote:Yeah obviously sacking him and his crew won't get us any penalties. Yes that's what I was calling for in the ACTION thread a month ago. Best case scenario would be to get someone proven in though obviously, but I'd still be happy with an internal switch.Hound wrote:So could we just promote someone internally?Millsy wrote:Yeah obviously sacking him and his crew won't get us any penalties.
