so manchester united games would last about five hours if things were not going there way?Terminal Boardom wrote:Most clubs instruct ball boys to slow things down in the latter stages of games if the home team are winning. 2 options exist. Either do away with them or change football to 30 minutes each way. The 30 minutes to be used when the ball is in play so time wasting, of any sort, is removed from the game. Check the figures and 30 minutes each way is quite generous.

Yes, unless they appeal, in which case the ban is put on hold until the appeal is heard.Stuka wrote:Hazard now banned for our game though right?

Keep that team board shit on theBR2 wrote:Nobody talking about the game.
As in the Arsenal game it is clear that Chelsea only have one tackler,Ramires,in their 5-man midfield.
We need to get at them right from the off (not after going 2-0 down) next Wednesday and we might get something from the game.
If we let them come at us it will be Arsenal all over again.
Haha thanks for the welcome you Prick !!Ideal wrote:F U C K O F F N E W B I E ! ! ! ! ! ! !Team Board Avoider wrote:Yes keep the team stuff to the team board. As my username suggests i dont want to see it here.
Hazard reacted like a thug and deserved his red card but it was the ballboy who caused the fracas. He had no need to intervene in the first place - the ball was rebounding back to Hazard. His stupidity and arrogance caused the incident and he deserves a banning order. Ballboys are not there to partake in the game and should be completely even handed. That young clown has brought disgrace on a decent club.creative_username_1 wrote:Hazard would have got the ball back into play quicker if he'd just left the kid alone
I've just realised what the cause of the problem was. Through evolution the Welsh have developed into individuals who can't resist the urge to grab a ball, fall over and smother it with their bodies!royalp-we wrote:Tbf, when I was a ball boy both Parjudas and Allen told us all to take our time in getting the ball back to the opposition. We used to roll it back to the opposition, and return it as quickly as possible to our own players.
That welsh kid was taking it a bit too far and I don't think the referee was expected to wait 6mins for a paramedic to see to his tummy before the game was restarted.
I don't condone Harzard's kick, but the ball boy was being a tw@t
Swansea possession - nothing to do with Hazard any more. Ballboy's job is to retrieve the ball - amirite?M Brook wrote:Hazard reacted like a thug and deserved his red card but it was the ballboy who caused the fracas. was pretty forthright on the Today programme as wellWhore Jackie wrote:LOL at Pat Nevin rinsing Mike Bushell on BBC Breakfast this morning.
It didn't need retrieving - it was rebounding back into the field of play before the overgrown ballboy decided to intervene purely, one can only assume, to waste time.creative_username_1 wrote:Swansea possession - nothing to do with Hazard any more. Disgrace on a decent club? I thought I'd heard that this young clown was actually the son of a Swansea Director?! I also believe that the young clown already knew before the game that he would be positioned behind the Swansea goal for both halves of the game. That in itself seems strange - isn't it normal for ball boys to stay in the same place outside the playing area for the whole game?M Brook wrote:Hazard reacted like a thug and deserved his red card but it was the ballboy who caused the fracas.
