That doesn't sound quite right to me.Svlad Cjelli wrote:Puma have manufacturing slots at their factories, and the slot you get depends upon how many you commit to buy over the season. I never understand why we're made to wait so long when other clubs and literally months ahead of us in both reveiling the new kits and selling them.
That's how it was a few years ago, not sure what factors influence it now.
Yep, yet still not as bad as the last 2 kits we've had!Ferris wrote:That's fecking 'orribleNo Fixed Abode wrote:
what would "how we work" entail that results in us always getting kits out late?Hoop Blah wrote:That doesn't sound quite right to me.Svlad Cjelli wrote:Puma have manufacturing slots at their factories, and the slot you get depends upon how many you commit to buy over the season. I think it's more where we've negotiated our slot in their production runs to fit in with our operating model. If not then your telling me the likes of Brentford, Colchester, Motherwell and Greenock Morton are getting priority over RFC because of bigger order volumes?
I'm sure it's more down to how we want to work rather than a volume issue meaning we're towards the back of the queue.
Discussing and approving the designs will be an annual thing (shouldn't be that regular in my opinion of course) and fitting that into an annual budget and calendar of work for the teams involved.Rev Algenon Stickleback H wrote:what would "how we work" entail that results in us always getting kits out late?
