Football is a simple but complex game.

We are failing at the simple part before we even get to any of the complexity of how you go about achieving the simple bit.

Someone needs to tell them that when you play football, the point is to score goals and win games. And you can’t do that if you spend 75% of the game without the ball defending within 30 yards of your goal.

But that I can agree with wholeheartedly.

Is it a confidence thing? Nearly every game including most we have won we have dropped so deep inviting pressure.

We also start games so slowly allowing the opposition to dictate.

Its ridiculous, I maintain there are good players in this team. I've seen us play some great stuff. It's just abysmal tactics and management letting us down at the moment sadly.

Ince has faded (understandably), Meite not yet the same since he did his knee - anyone else?

Likes of Holmes and Loum ok at times but genuinely think you need to be realistic on the quality we have

So when those players have played exceptionally well, are we to assume it was once in a life time overachievement?

Loum looked like he was far too good for this league for several games, and then all of a sudden looks by and large total crap for example.

Really? At the start of the season he was everywhere! Constantly winning tackles, breaking up play and playing the ball quickly.

I never agreed with that tbh. He looked great in abouttwo games but mainly because he plays on the edge of making a killer mistake or getting away with it regularly, and those games he got the rub of the green, since he's got what he's deserved for risk taking, lungeing, dodgy control while trying to turn and unnecessarily flashy control in deep positions.

He plays languid and slow, a yard too far from the play and hopes he can make up for it with long legs and a stretch. Too often he can't. But when he can it looks amazing.

Both the last two games we’ve been awful until we’ve given it a go in the last 20 and then belatedly looked ok

That was coming.

Ince has shown he's potentially as clueless as Pauno. The performances for the last 5 games were too negative and yes I include the win against a dire Huddersfield. We keep inviting pressure.

We lack experience in centre half. It's no surprise we always concede far too many goals when Holmes and McIntyre play together. We need one of the injured experienced defenders back ASAP.

We have to win Saturday as November looks tough.

You don’t need allstars you just need a team that knows what it’s meant to do.

After the tactics and performances of the last 3 games along with previous debacles I’m beginning to have doubts about Ince.
