At least Rahman should be out of the side for another 5 games after that terrible showing.CountryRoyal wrote:Why does NGW, who is more of a wing back than Rahman and who has significantly outperformed this season, remain on the bench when its clear we need to pose more of an attacking threat?

But that I can agree with wholeheartedly.Snowflake Royal wrote:Football is a simple but complex game.
We are failing at the simple part before we even get to any of the complexity of how you go about achieving the simple bit.
Someone needs to tell them that when you play football, the point is to score goals and win games. And you can’t do that if you spend 75% of the game without the ball defending within 30 yards of your goal.

Thought ejaria did fairly well actually but then I guess that’s a predictable as Ian saying he was shitRoyal Rother wrote:After that performance Ian scapegoating Ejaria is one of the funnier things I’ve read today.
So when those players have played exceptionally well, are we to assume it was once in a life time overachievement?Hound wrote:We’ve done ok players, but who is genuinely good?CountryRoyal wrote:Its ridiculous, I maintain there are good players in this team. I've seen us play some great stuff. It's just abysmal tactics and management letting us down at the moment sadly.
Ince has faded (understandably), Meite not yet the same since he did his knee - anyone else?
Likes of Holmes and Loum ok at times but genuinely think you need to be realistic on the quality we have

Not once in a lifetime but yes they prob have overachieved at timesCountryRoyal wrote:So when those players have played exceptionally well, are we to assume it was once in a life time overachievement?Hound wrote:We’ve done ok players, but who is genuinely good?CountryRoyal wrote:Its ridiculous, I maintain there are good players in this team. Loum looked like he was far too good for this league for several games, and then all of a sudden looks by and large total crap for example.
You are correct.Hound wrote:Thought ejaria did fairly well actually but then I guess that’s a predictable as Ian saying he was shitRoyal Rother wrote:After that performance Ian scapegoating Ejaria is one of the funnier things I’ve read today.
Need him back in the 11
Really? At the start of the season he was everywhere! Constantly winning tackles, breaking up play and playing the ball quickly.Hound wrote:Not once in a lifetime but yes they prob have overachieved at timesCountryRoyal wrote:So when those players have played exceptionally well, are we to assume it was once in a life time overachievement?Hound wrote:

Loum wasn’t much different today to any other game I’ve seen tbh
I never agreed with that tbh. He looked great in abouttwo games but mainly because he plays on the edge of making a killer mistake or getting away with it regularly, and those games he got the rub of the green, since he's got what he's deserved for risk taking, lungeing, dodgy control while trying to turn and unnecessarily flashy control in deep positions.CountryRoyal wrote:So when those players have played exceptionally well, are we to assume it was once in a life time overachievement?Hound wrote:We’ve done ok players, but who is genuinely good?CountryRoyal wrote:Its ridiculous, I maintain there are good players in this team. Agree with this as aboveCountryRoyal wrote:Either way its getting pretty tiring constantly being this passive side. Why can't we try and take the game to the opposition once in a oxf*rd while. Ridiculous approach.
Along with Loum and Joao, time to call Parky.CountryRoyal wrote:Lol Ejaria.

You don’t need allstars you just need a team that knows what it’s meant to do.Hound wrote:We’ve done ok players, but who is genuinely good?CountryRoyal wrote:Its ridiculous, I maintain there are good players in this team. This stupid World Cup might bide him some time. We could be right in the pooh by then. Just all the signals are it's gonna fall to pieces.blythspartan wrote:We looked good against Blackburn but all the other wins have been hard fought ugly performances. I am under no illusions about this season and I’d take 21st right now.
We never deserved anything against Swansea and being 2-0 up completely flattered us. Ince needs to sort this out but I am not sure he has the tactical acumen. I like him a lot tbf but not convinced he’ll be here beyond Christmas.
