Exactly. And with Matejovski, Gunnarsson and Cisse (eek), there's no room for Watson anyway.REALROYAL wrote:rg6royal wrote:No thanks...We have KaracanREALROYAL wrote:Warnock said he expects him to leave the club..I would love to see him in a Royals shirt
To be fair Karacan looks like a little gem..
He'll pick up the pace the more he plays. He did enough yesterday, didn't let anyone down and had a hand in the 4th. Can't complain!!Focher wrote:the game totally passed Karacan by yesterday, not ready for a regular 1st team spot

31 Aug 2008 18:09The game regularly passes Harper by, at least it seems to.Focher wrote:the game totally passed Karacan by yesterday, not ready for a regular 1st team spot
Shorey was on the touchline before the Villa friendly.Drew_3 wrote:he was on the touchline before the game today so is still a palace player.
Simple. Lita / Watson swap, then Harper out to a Prem club for £2m ish. JM's back-pocket wins, we still have 4 strikers, midfield still looks balanced. Win-win.Streets wrote:[Itches chin]Huntley & Palmer wrote:Interesting that Watson was not in the squad for the game yesterday and neither was Lita.
Hmm, it is. But I still think back to what Steve Coppell said in the Fans Forum. Where exactly would Watson fit in?
He would clearly be ahead of Cisse and Gunnarsson. We have Harper who wouldn't be dropped unless his form drops miserably, Matejovsky who should make the first team. Questions over his lightweightedness perhaps when paired with Harps. Karacan too.
Be a great signing if possible though. Lita wouldn't be a great loss. Frightening that Long would get more games though.
If that happened over the next 28 hours I will be as giddy as a little girl.Friday's Child wrote:Simple. Lita / Watson swap, then Harper out to a Prem club for £2m ish. Only downside would be Harper moving on, but one could argue that most of the players from his "time" have now moved on, and as part of evolution it is no bad thing.
True, but Harper aint going anywhere for £2m. More like £4-5m. We're reluctant to sell, valuations are inflated, hence Boro and Fulham backing off if we're led to believe they backed off.Friday's Child wrote:Simple. Backing off = tactical underbidding to prompt potential sale at preferred price from vulnerable counterpartyStreets wrote: True, but Harper aint going anywhere for £2m. More like £4-5m. Skysports.com understands that Crystal Palace have accepted a bid from Nottm Forest for Ben Watson.
