Although this expectation and hope is just materialising to nothing, sounds familiar really. I wouldn't be surprised if he's still in the dugout for Wednesday really.
Fair play to Pauno for offering to step down though if that is true. Maybe some sort of financial constraint/EFL approval is preventing this from happening. As much as everyone has rightly given reasons why, there simply cannot be any other logical explanation.

Yes but this should be part of their ethos towards "rectifying errors of the past". I understand what you're saying, incompetency from the owners, but, despite all of that, I genuinely do not believe that someone who has likely worked incredibly hard for his fortune as well as being an intelligent man in his industry can be making a decision that is this stupid. I mean, I know in hindsight a lot of bad ones were made, but this just goes from the ridiculous to the extreme now.Snowflake Royal wrote:Of course there can. Just look at the Moore statement.
How Bowen leaving and Pauno arriving was handled. Not sacking Stam for ever. Giving Moore an enormous lengthy contract. Having previous clubs go out of business.
That was just the kindling mate, today appears to be the inferno.Snowflake Royal wrote:Where have you been for 10 years?Stranded wrote:Well, we are watching the club burn today.
Which is nice.

Unfortunately it’s an ever growing list of disastrous mistakes. I would like to see shot of Yongge but I cannot see anyone interested in buying this circus of a football club.Snowflake Royal wrote:Of course there can. Disagree with that - the list of foreign billionaires looking to own a bit of the English game is significantly longer than the number of clubs for sale.Zip wrote:Unfortunately it’s an ever growing list of disastrous mistakes. To put it another way - it only takes one idiot.
SJM - (bless him, and for all the good it did), was conscientious about who to sell it to.Zip wrote:Green wrote:Disagree with that - the list of foreign billionaires looking to own a bit of the English game is significantly longer than the number of clubs for sale.Zip wrote:

We have struggled to find owners in the past when we were a far more attractive prospect than we are right now. SJM had all sorts of problems selling the club and we owned the stadium and land surrounding the ground back then.
