ah wow, didn't realise Keogh got injured, hadn't really read the story. Could be in (well deserved) big troubleURZZZZ wrote:Bit of trouble at Derby today. Two players accused of drink driving, injuring Keogh for the season in the process
Also didn't realise Keogh was injured, that's pretty poor and I would expect the club to come down quite heavily on them. Although, presumably Keogh was out late with them as well, but wasn't driving.Hound wrote:ah wow, didn't realise Keogh got injured, hadn't really read the story. Derby a bit of a shambles this year. Outside bet to go down imo
club statement - what idiots...

Tom Lawrence (arguably their best player) and Mason Bennett the other 2 involved. Would expect them to be banned from the 1st team for quite some timeHound wrote:sounds like the 3 of them stayed out boozing after they were advised to leave at 8. Keogh out for the season with the knee injury.
Its really poor stuff - 2 of their better players as well. Cant see how the other 2 can escape pretty severe sanction
Wow. We can only dream.Hound wrote:Derby a bit of a shambles this year. Outside bet to go down imo
Fantastic stuff from you there.URZZZZ wrote:It’s been a bit of a car crash of a season for them so far
Was in Derby today talking to a Derby fan - apparently a few of them went out after the event. What Keogh was thinking. Oh hold on he’s a fcuking idiot.Stranded wrote:Tom Lawrence (arguably their best player) and Mason Bennett the other 2 involved. He is the oldest looking 23 year old isn't he? Looks older than me at almost twice his age.NewCorkSeth wrote:Theres a video on twitter of Bennett vomiting into a urinal.. he could face serious problems.
Pretty sure he was already facing serious problems without the video of him vomiting into a urinal.NewCorkSeth wrote:Theres a video on twitter of Bennett vomiting into a urinal.. he could face serious problems.
I think Huddlestone took the video and put the tagline "youth of today" to highlight his inability to hold his booze. 4 pints of Peroni is said in the background.Hound wrote:He is the oldest looking 23 year old isn't he? watched it on the Mirror site with a tagline 'Youth of today'I'm sure footballers never got that pissed in the good old days
True. But his actions are no indefensible and if he lied to the club about his state already then repercussions will be enormous.Old Man Andrews wrote:Pretty sure he was already facing serious problems without the video of him vomiting into a urinal.NewCorkSeth wrote:Theres a video on twitter of Bennett vomiting into a urinal.. he could face serious problems.
The wording in the Derby statement would imply that they are going to help the players rather than just punish them. Think they will get a suspension and the biggest possible fine. They should of course be sacked like any "normal" human being would be in the same situation but that would mean Derby losing millions of pounds and we all know that is more important to football clubs than what is right.NewCorkSeth wrote:True. I had thought that there might be repercussions outside of the clubs authority, suspended license or something?Old Man Andrews wrote:The wording in the Derby statement would imply that they are going to help the players rather than just punish them.
