I'd be surprised if Murty plays for Reading again, sadly.

Probably in his testimonial against Celtic. I take it this is still on.

Murty will play for RFC in the last home game of the season, if there is nothing to play for, and rightly so.

From what I saw of last weekends Burnley v Chartlon highlights Murty looked at fault for both goals.

Murty is having the kind of problems getting back to fitness that I expected both him and Gunnarsson to experience. Glad to see that Gunnarsson is staying relatively injury free for his cameo apearances, but this is the problem with players of their age, little knocks become more frequent and harder to shake off.

I read that on the official site just now. Does that mean we might get to see Tabb or Harding...albeit on the bench?

Seeing as Henry hasn't been on the bench much, if at all recently, I'd say that it won't change Coppell's selections at all.

I don't think Henry has been involved since Coppell's damning verdict that some of the fringe players weren't up to it after the Cardiff cup defeat.

Read into that what you will...

Karacan is more of a prospect than Henry.

And Pearce is playing great. Doesn't worry me that James has gone on loan.

Annoyed at Henry off to Millwall, would have like to see him given a spot on the right ahead of Kebe.

It's a shame though. Henry has done ok in a position we've been lacking in since Little's injury problems started.

It seems that Coppell doesn't think he's good enough (yet??) to push Kebe for a starting position.

As for the other two, yep they're good prospects and closer to winning a place in the starting eleven. Doesn't have any bearing on Henry's situation though.

Why, when he's clearly nowhere near as good as him? :|

They are very different players.

I would say Henry is a better footballer than Kebe but Kebe has loads more pace.

But Henry is still young and will either train on and be a very good player (becasue he has the ability...) or do a James Lambert...

agreed, copps is never going to play 3 yoof teamers at a time in an improtant championship game
pearcey is in and looks like keeping his place for a while, karacan is more consistent than henry-so james wasnt going to get obn the pitch-correct decision RFC

Karacan isn't getting a game either though. He also plays in a position where he has more senior pro's ahead of him (Harper, Cisse, Matejovsky and Gunnarsson, and maybe Tabb now too) whereas Henry is probably only behind Kebe and now Tabb.

Tabb being here will be the reason he's off on loan, and I think it's the right move, but I don't think it has much to do with the other two youngsters playing or not.

I understand what you're saying HB but Millwall are chasing promotion in league one so it's probably as good experience for James as a struggling championship side. if he does well he can always come back to us confident and in form.

I agree I think it's a good move for him. I watched a bit of them against Leeds the other night and they looked like they wanted to use their wingers well too, especially the lad on the left who had a good game.

I'm disappointed that Henry isn't getting a look in here because I don't really rate Kebe and think Henry could offer us a good alternative if given a run in the team. As Coppell doesn't seem to want to do that then Millwall is a good chance to get more experience under his belt and change Coppell's mind.

I like Kebe but I would also like Henry here to offer us depth. The thing is I want to see Coppell play Tabb as well though so it's a bit of a conundrum...

I really want to see Karacan back on at least the subs bench because if not he might as well go on loan too.
