This seasonSilver Fox wrote:Kes, how do you feel about Jose spending the run up to Saturday trying to wind up Arsene Wenger instead of planning for the game against City, something he did excellently for the league game? That was a pretty abject performance, whether you went out or not

True. I'm more along the lines of 'wait until someone else reports it too'soggy biscuit wrote:My general rule of thumb is that if Sky Sports say something, it is probably not true, in fact assume the complete opposite actually happened.
Or that we sold you a £50m dud. Cheers Roman. Or that you watched from your armchair. No Fixed Abode wrote:Still doesn't change the fact he's won a CL, Europa League and FA Cup with Chelsea. What would he have won at Liverpool?
Nothing. So the player is up on the deal, Liverpool are up on the deal but Chelsea aren't?No Fixed Abode wrote:Still doesn't change the fact he's won a CL, Europa League and FA Cup with Chelsea. What would he have won at Liverpool?
Nope I was glad to see him go. He had been poor for months. People say we wasted the money we got for Torres on Andy Carrol but in hindsight Liverpool did great business overall that window.stealthpapes wrote:A facial from King of Sting?

Players out Torres £50m
Babbel £6.5m
Players in Carrol £35m
Saurez £22m
So a net spend 0f just £1/2m.
Cut our losses on Carroll but managed to recoup about £15m and Saurez latest buy out clause is reported to be £70m.
Already dealt with Carrol above, Adam was only £6m and we got £5m back. Downing was a mistake like all clubs make like Torres and Shevchenko. Notice you have stopped mentioning Henderson now that he is proving to be worth every penny. Bored now so I am out of here my little armchair fan.No Fixed Abode wrote:King of Sting wrote:Nope I was glad to see him go. He had been poor for months.
