2 matches in the next 7 days for the U23`s with contrasting importance !
1st up on Friday(22nd) is the final premier league 2 cup qualifying group match away to Fulham KO 2pm. the match is at Motspur park behind closed doors. The Royals have already qualified for the last 16 KO stage whereas victory for Fulham will see them qualify. I can see Reading putting out a really young and inexperienced side !!
Monday the 25th sees a really tricky away tie at Manchester Utd KO 7pm in the QF`s of the Premier league 2 international cup. The Match is being played at the Leigh sports village ground and is live on MUTV. this will mean that there will be streams(Cricfree etc) for us to watch.

Fulham leading 1-0 with 20 mins to go.

F-T 2-0 Fulham are the 9th team to qualify with Reading,Sunderland, Stoke, Everton, Nottingham Forest,Aston Villa, Derby and Newcastle
Edit 2 more teams qualified this evening - Wolves and Swansea leaving just 5 spots to be decided.

Another massive game for the U23`s this Friday March 1st away at Southampton in a Premier league 2 div 2 match. The match kicks off at 7pm at the Southampton training complex at Staplewood. I understand that attendance is restricted to only " local residents " allowed !!!!
Southampton currently lead the division and with automatic promotion for the top team only, this is a must win game for the Royals to stand any chance of finishing top. With a home match in the play-offs for the teams finishing 2nd and 3rd it`s also important that the team don`t lose.
