Well no not really, there have been cases previous to this where similar walls have collapsed in similar circumstances and people have ended up with broken limbs. I remember an FA Cup tie at a non-league ground in the early-mid 90's where this happened. With less luck the same could have happened on Wednesday. It's not about the fact a wall collapsed and a few people got cuts and bruises, it's about preventing similar things happening with worse outcomes (and the fact that a safety certificate clearly shouldn't have been issued due to the insufficient structure). Sorry Affers, but you're blowing out of your arse with this one.

Did they get the Pikey's in to make this wall, Where is the cement in between the blocks?
They must have used superglue.
If you look at the blocks to the left, there is none on the wall or underside of the blocks that have broken free.

If the poor schmuck had done his job in the first place and ensured the wall was sufficient and to the required standard, maybe his job wouldn't be in jeapardy. Who's to say he'll lose it anyway? Torquay being hit in the pocket? If they had done their job and ensured the wall was to the required standard they wouldn't be hit there would they?

a bit sad to try and lay blame for this. They wouldn't normally expect such a big surge to the front and i don't think they could of forseen the wall being weakened at any point. I have a cut on my leg, in the shape of a C about 4 inchs up and 3 across.. Not to big. Loads of pictures were taken at the game.. (not gonna read the whole thread) So im sure you could find one of the wall.

I wasn't at the game but after reading a facebook update about the wall on the day of the incident I spiralled into depression and have had a phobia of walls. Can STAR please pursue a compensation claim on my behalf?
