Pearce, Griffin, Jem and Ledge all out could be a major problem though.

Gives the likes of Cummings, Howard and Tabb another chance to prove their worth though. Can only be a good thing?

Quite a few

Still rate him as a player, even though he does have his faults. :P

Would prefer to see Jobi in mid field with Tabb and Antonio or HRK on the wing.

Howard at left back (in Reading)

The old ones are the best

'greed, I don't mind Cummings coming in, he's had a few very good performances, whilst Griffin was out before Christmas.

Sheff Utd 1-3 Reading

Long, Manset and Howard! Don't care who scores for them.

Griffin's out!? arse... there goes my cunning plan to switch him to left back to drop Harte if Armstrong isn't up to it. Come on Stretch!!!

NR_Royal With hindsight, this probably isn't the best game to convince my uni mates that Reading aren't a bad team. We'll get raped in midfield as we are likely to play Tabb and Howard, but I'm hoping Long and Kebe will be on fire seeing as I've talked them up a fair amount... :P

2-0 to us. Harte FK, Kebe

I took my uni mates to watch this fixture last season when we lost 3-0 and one of them turned round and said "I think that was the worst thing I've ever seen"

My team would be:

Feds

Cummings
Mills
Zurab
Armstrong

McAnuff (Antonio if not fit)
Tabb
Howard
Kebe

NHunt
Long

But I don't hold much hope for that!

I like it, but I think I'd give Church one last chance, especially as I think he's more likely to feed off anything Howard might produce than Hunt. Although I'd prefer it if Pearce was in for Mills as well.

Too many changes to actually happen though.

So we COULD be missing our first choice RB, our two first-choice midfielders, and our first-choice LW?

If McAnuff IS fit, he can play RB, can't he?

2-0 Royals, Gunnarsson double.

edit:
The odds on this are 1000/1!

Why would you want McAnuff at RB? I'd rather have Zurab, because at least he's got a bit of pace and is pretty composed. Play McAnuff on the wing or not at all.

Howard, left back (in Reading)

Slight improvement, surely?
