This is trueWycombe Royal wrote:We cannot talk to a player whose contract is expiring in the summer until the start of June unless the other club give us permission. From what I have heard Forest want to offer him a new deal so that is unlikely. Happy to be proved wrong though......
This isn't true. Players aged over 24 can sign a pre-contract agreement 6 months before expiration of their existing contract with any club they choose and there is nothing their existing club can do to stop him. This was one of the outcomes of Bosman to ensure security for the players.Wycombe Royal wrote:We cannot talk to a player whose contract is expiring in the summer until the start of June unless the other club give us permission. Moving on, is this player any good?
It's a football forum, it's called banter. Or do we want this forum to be a sanitised environment where everyone is polite to one another?Royal Lady wrote:I believe him too. People should research before assuming that "according to twitter" doesn't mean "I'm making up the fact that..."TBM wrote:LOLSuper Kevin Bremner! wrote:According to Twitter, McCleary has been in Shagaluf since the end of the season and is still there.
People should really try and cover their tracks before posting "i've just seen" posts......
