No way he plays L1 in my opinion next season.blythspartan wrote:If we can get him on loan from Luton I’d like to see us sign Joe Taylor on loan next season.
I imagine he'll in the Luton first team squad, assuming they get relegated.Stranded wrote:No way he plays L1 in my opinion next season.blythspartan wrote:If we can get him on loan from Luton I’d like to see us sign Joe Taylor on loan next season.
He is out of contract in June, I think we are supposed to have an option, and we'd be mad not to try to retain him.traff wrote:Seems to be a lot of noise around Craig, coming from the charity box dippers.
Looks like he maybe out of contact soon, hoping we have an option. Excellent this season and lots of progress ahead.
I'm not sure if we have an option on Craig, but he was at the U21 game on Saturday. You'd think that's a positive sign...Snowflake Royal wrote:He is out of contract in June, I think we are supposed to have an option, and we'd be mad not to try to retain him.traff wrote:Seems to be a lot of noise around Craig, coming from the charity box dippers.

The latter - he nearly went to Bristol Rovers in Jan but the finances stopped it, so was used as an impact player really.Hound wrote:Yeah not the sort of player I’d want is to go for
Was on the bench a lot last year - was it injury or not favoured?
I can't remember what thread it was in, but his name came up.WestYorksRoyal wrote:Johnson Clarke-Harris going on a free, lots of Twitter fans saying we should go for it.
Am I the only one who thinks "hell no"? He's a big name who if he doesn't go to the Championship, will go to the highest bidder and who may well smash our wage structure - should we really have anyone coming in and earning more than the likes of Wing, Knibbs and Smith who have proven that they deserve to be our higher earners? The sort of signing we should consign to the Dai era.
That being said, watch him sign for Birmingham or Wrexham and bang in 25 goals.
I hope they won't release our U23 captain Michael Stickland now he has been shortlisted for Premier League 2 Player of the Season:Sutekh wrote:Snowflake Royal wrote:Current Squad

He's 20 - so has another year of U21 football in him. Can see him getting a 1+1 year contract, with the extension dependent on him progressing towards the first team (playing well in EFL Trophy matches, etc.).morganb wrote:I hope they won't release our U23 captain Michael Stickland now he has been shortlisted for Premier League 2 Player of the Season:Sutekh wrote:Snowflake Royal wrote:Current Squad

Particularly after his injury, which I think took around a year out of his development.Snowflake Royal wrote:Yeah, he seems to be progressing well actually.
Good piece of business, start getting him some game time in the cups and substitute appearances and i can see him being a natural replace for yids either next season or the one after.Brogue wrote:Abrefa signs 2 year contract
Missed this yesterday, from James Earnshaw on TwitterI'm told ... Reading are unable to sign anyone- including free agents or loans- until we know where we stand with the ownership saga... EFL decision
Really not news. The club is embargoed anyway so frees and loans is all that's allowed. Preventing even those signings makes sense under the current state of play but seems at odds with issuing the new deal to Abrefa.morganb wrote:Also put this on the Takeover thread -
