Strap had major health issues and I don’t know if he is still struggling with that, not seen anything of him off the board for a long while.
Both incredible founts of knowledge on RFC although they aren’t the only one’s with databases. Oddly those with in depth factual knowledge seem not to be the ones who indulge in preaching or over reaction.

Whatever the situation before Strap left I think in general the correlation between those who have facts on hand and those who make the most noise is fairly clear….
There are others on here who have superb and accurate RFC knowledge and they don’t tend to be the ones making the most noise.

No axe at all, odd that you jump to that conclusion !
It can just be refreshing to see certain posters pop up who aren’t going to be full of conjecture / speculation / hyperbole but just contribute facts. Obviously it’s a discussion board so the speculation is part of what it’s here for but there are a few calmer heads who provide nice balance. Stranded is another one who while not such a stats guy always just seems to cut through the fog.
