That's way more than he's worth, if it wasn't for the fact we don't really have a replacement and almost certainly can't sign one, it would be a total no brainer.

Agree - very consistent scorer at this level and at struggling sides most of the time, and we have no one to replace him with. Kelvin E isn't consistent yet or a goalscorer and not convinced by Wareham so far.

If we were a normal club that could replace I'd say anything near to £1m would be acceptable.

Given the number of Academy debuts in the last 2 years I would imagine the club will be well over 23 players in the eyes of the FL.

Currently, we're on about 35, but we won't be when all the contracts run out in July.

I understand a large amount of the first team is out of contract so basically we will be left with possible the youngest and most inexperienced team in the history of the EFL!! Does anyone know what the longest period a team has been under a transfer/contract embargo in recent times? He's in the position with the least depth for sure.

Knibbs on 8 with 11 last year. Wing got 10 last year.

But with Wing wasted deeper and Big Kelv E not kicking on through injury, it's a worry.
