Agree - very consistent scorer at this level and at struggling sides most of the time, and we have no one to replace him with. Kelvin E isn't consistent yet or a goalscorer and not convinced by Wareham so far.Pepe the Horseman wrote:Think people are massively undervaluing Smith tbh. Thanks Snowflake for the clarification. I understand a large amount of the first team is out of contract so basically we will be left with possible the youngest and most inexperienced team in the history of the EFL!! Does anyone know what the longest period a team has been under a transfer/contract embargo in recent times? There have been plenty of teams on the brink however, were they under the same restrictions as us? Thanks guys.Snowflake Royal wrote:Currently, we're on about 35, but we won't be when all the contracts run out in July.Sutekh wrote:Given the number of Academy debuts in the last 2 years I would imagine the club will be well over 23 players in the eyes of the FL.Snowflake Royal wrote: We can replace players up to having 23 players with at least one professional appearance
we simply don't have a goal threat without him.Pepe the Horseman wrote:Think people are massively undervaluing Smith tbh. Probably our 2nd most important player behind Bindon imo.
