Bromley's physicality is causing us problems...

A bright start has disappeared...

A few players now invisible...

Not sure why I was expecting any different tbh.

Go a goal up, dare to look mildly good, then turn into absolute tosh.

Wow! We've gone 1-0 up under Richardson, and then ceded control of the game. That's unusual.

I know it's only one half of football but we seem to have carried on where we left off last season. Chaotic at the back. Aimless forward passes. Wingers have looked promising at times though.

Disappointing, bright start, get a goal then disappear. Nothing changes.

Reading 7 shots, 1 on target.
Bromley 10 shots, 2 on target.

Possession pretty much 50-50.

That was a stonewall penalty for Bromley as well.....We look utterly devoid of style and a plan now. Look like 11 strangers on the pitch.

After 5 minutes we looked great, after that apart from our goal pretty much all Bromley, we look light weight no movement, rino wants to long on the ball, center backs all over the place, despite having width it's not being used, nothing up top, pretty depressing first half of the season, it could be a long one

The big difference is ball possession. Bromley are not giving the ball away in midfield.
We have given the ball away too cheaply whilst in possession and letting Bromley put us under pressure.

It was all fairly comfortable until the hydration break.

Still a bit more positive going forward than last season, but we look very shaky defensively.

Bromley are playing a high line, so there’s plenty of space for Kyerewaa and Lisbie to exploit if we can get the ball to them in the right area.

It’s not a single player either. It’s like everyone’s on a different wavelength.

So much for the promising pre season! We are all over the place at the back. Joel has made more mistakes than he did all of last season.
