When I was managing employee communications we always used to identify & address the loudest dissenting voices. Often they would be working away in the background trying to undermine what the senior management team might be doing/saying. By outing them it gave us the chance to directly address and counter what they might be saying and that strengthened our position. I suspect Couhig and co might be adopting a similar tactic through the book and elsewhere.
Possibly. Although I don't know how that would work for supporters on Twitter, as they're your primary customer rather than your employees. If you've got employees criticising the senior management on social media, then it would make sense. Although he may also he monitoring it to see where the leaks were coming from.
After reading some of the extracts from the book on this thread I dislike Couhig even more than before.
Hopefully the people who have now read the book understand that the things I've been saying about him on here are not based on some weird vendetta against the guy, but are actually vindicated real accounts of his behaviour. I hate to be all "I told you so," but I told you so...

I've taken a lot of shit from posters on here; it's time people open their eyes and realise he's not the messiah, he's a nasty piece of work.
