I'd love to see him in the Premier League again.

With another club.

Then I could really rather enjoy his ineptitude.

Hull got to the prem on a similar way to us, build slow and steady, cant see them paying £4.5m for any players at the moment.

Chairman has already said he is willing to spend to give them the best chance to stay up. Plus they're current strike force is made up of Campbell (likely to go back to Man U), 40yo Dean Windass, Caleb Folan (who Wigan took a chance on and didn't work out) and Craig Fagan (who Derby didn't think was good enough).

So if they are going to spend big, it'll be up front.

Also £4.5 isn't spending big in the Prem.League - how much did Derby spend on Earnshaw? I think that figure would be realistic if there are several interested teams - if it's just Hull, it'll be less than that.

There is the small issue of convincing players to live on Humberside

remember he is in the last year of his contract,

anything above 2.5m i can see the club cutting losses and can bring in someone else! it will be a profit on a player who has a temperamental attitude

The good thing is Hull City and Stoke City will be desperate for new players and they have big money to spend. I'd imagine both of them will offer stupid money to make sure they can at least compete.
