Are you kidding? The owner is months away from bankrupcy and unless he finds a buyer the club are headed for administration and a points fine. They can sell whoever they like and it's not going to change the essential situation.

That's a different scenario though. West Ham could get sucked into administration but not because the club itself is broke and reports are that the money from Etherington and Davenport means the club isn't underpressure to flog off players (and they have turned down £20 million in bids in recent days....).
