It's a generic song, stick another players name in although maybe you will need to swap scores goals for concedes goals.bcubed wrote:Will be sorry to lose him but only because I like the song!

He has already been replaced - the new player comes into the squad on Jan 28th. It is Dominic Samuel. It is the Reading way.howser wrote:I look forward to the next 48 hours when we name our new striker, as we wouldn't have let Blackman go if we didn't have a replacement ready to come in, after all that would be pretty stupid wouldn't it ???
I figure he'll be busy with the promotion of his new album.Pepe the Horseman wrote:He's in trouble if he thinks he'll play there ahead of Chris Martin.

Do you remember being as disappointed with the club selling a player? What a shambolic couple of months @readingfc.

Who in now? Will they get anyone in? Would Blackman have gone if he'd been played in the correct position? Was he Reading's best player?

Great news for @dcfcofficial signing Blackman. Shockingly bad news for @readingfc. I get the contract up in summer - but bad, bad, bad.
If he is an arrogant so and so as some say, it would be quite amusing to see Derby's team spirit ebb away and their promotion attempt fall away as he upsets the whole squad. We can but hope.... Maybe that is Brian's cunning plan.genome wrote:Apparently in his first interview for Derby he says he prefers to play down the middle. No surprise there but will be interesting* to see where Derby play him.

I really don't get this train of thought.andrew1957 wrote: Any chance of promotion this season went with Blackman and so we might as well go with what we have and build for next season.
once you remind yourself that it was just someone on the internet saying it, it's a lot easier to accept.Hoop Blah wrote:I really don't get this train of thought.andrew1957 wrote: Any chance of promotion this season went with Blackman and so we might as well go with what we have and build for next season.

On a serious note I cannot see any point adding another striker unless another one of the current lot go. Any chance of promotion this season went with Blackman and so we might as well go with what we have and build for next season. Therefore, personally I would much rather we use Vydra and Sa and give Samuel and Liburd a go as back up until the end of this season and then add next summer if we need to. Who knows one of young players might score a few.
