Should still go for Allan Clarke. He shirley must be a free agent, would be Leeds through and through and probably no worse than BamfordOld Man Andrews wrote:Leeds needed two strikers in the window, should have gone for Wells imo. From Despair To Where? wrote:Even the majority of Leeds fans are saying he's a donkey and a complete waste of £35,000/wk.Old Man Andrews wrote: Man who cannot even run judges brilliant striker......
They're also complaining that Bielsa has brought this fella in from Leipzig and is now claiming he wont be ready for 4 weeks yet Tyler Roberts is brought back into the first team after 3 months out injured and U23 game.
Peter Lorimer is probably a free agent too.Franchise FC wrote:Should still go for Allan Clarke. Lots of chances being created though, his movement is some of the best you'll ever see.Hendo wrote:Most shots off target this season:Old Man Andrews wrote:Man who cannot even run judges brilliant striker......Snowflake Royal wrote:Bamford is so shit.

I’ve heard chances created is what wins you football games and not goals, along with attendances.Old Man Andrews wrote:Lots of chances being created though, his movement is some of the best you'll ever see.Hendo wrote:Most shots off target this season:Old Man Andrews wrote: Man who cannot even run judges brilliant striker......

The fact you've been able to see just how many chances he creates proves my point exactly, you've just shown how good Bamford is whilst trying to Whiteknight Ian.
Of course not, you're being ridiculous now. Your stats demonstrate Bamford is getting in the end zone and getting chances very frequently. It would be more concerning if he didn't get chances at all like a lot of strikers.Hendo wrote:I’ve heard chances created is what wins you football games and not goals, along with attendances.Old Man Andrews wrote:Lots of chances being created though, his movement is some of the best you'll ever see.Hendo wrote:

What my stats demonstrate is that, yes he is getting into good positions, but he hasn’t got the ability to put them away. If he was as brilliant as you say, he’d be putting away half of those clear chances, putting him on 22 goals, then yes you could say he was brilliant.

I think there is more to being a great striker than the goal output. It is like saying goaltenders are only good if they keep clean sheets, simply not true. We will have to agree to disagree on this one old bean.Hendo wrote:End zone? Get outOld Man Andrews wrote:Of course not, you're being ridiculous now. Thanks for confirming you’re trolling with the use of goaltenders.Old Man Andrews wrote:I think there is more to being a great striker than the goal output.
