I to am disgusted at this signing, we need to sign players that will make us competitive against the likes of Man Utd/Arsenal/Everton etc.... However instead we sign players that can hardly cope with teams like Swindon Town!

I never spoke out negatively about the various signings we've made as I trust the scouting networking here and the hit rate is always fairly positive for "hidden gems" from lower leagues. I always wait to see what happens before casting a judgement - it's human nature to spout out knee-jerk statements. But I can understand where some of the posters come from in terms of feeling underwhelmed after hearing the talk about needing experienced heads. I'm sure they're happy to be proven wrong - but it's still early days and we have only seen a couple of cameos so far from Mr. Akpan. All the signs are positive though - but it's not quite time for 'told you so' comments.

You have to be happy now with the window - it's exciting to see who this final player might be.
