One of the things I do find funny* is that when people discuss why the midfield feels unbalanced the last two seasons (and by extension, was working alright in the back half of 23-24), the fact that Craig made the defensive midfield part his own that season, before moving to right back the following year, seems to be missed.

He was released after two seasons of being injured for pretty much every game. If Reading had wanted to take a chance he probably would have stayed on but the club obviously felt it was too big a risk. I now expect him to play 40+ games as County’s star man this season.

Think it will happen....Azeez understandably very keen on move and they are only £3m apart as Brighton have offered £12m (BBC Sport).

Agree, Craig was outstanding as a defensive midfielder, always able to break up play and distribute the ball, another great talent we managed to lose cheaply
