It was January last year; but I guess they were flogging the Puma merch.
Just had a look and no large adult sizes for the home shirt.morganb wrote:The website now has a 25% off kit banner, discount applied once added to your basket, not all sizes are available thoughroyalp-we wrote:They do a kids box set for £44ea. I need 2 with names![]()

Yeah that sale was decent. I actually picked up a smart light jacket - not emblazoned with Reading logos - was £70, selling for £10 - and agree with you on the kit.Hound wrote:They had a great sale on Black Friday this year of some of the gear - picked up a very nice coat and hat for my son at half price - it'd only been released a couple of months before
Just as an update, I'm well chuffed with the quality of the kits this year. My boys have worn the home kit to death, played loads of football in it, been through many washes and still looks in great nick. Vast improvement on the puma one.

Agreed, looks like it's a beauty. I assume it has a white panel on the back?Sutekh wrote:Really like that Sporting kit, something like that would be most epacceptable.
Has a green panel on the back. More I see it the more I’m coming round to it.Armadillo Roadkill wrote:Agreed, looks like it's a beauty. I assume it has a white panel on the back?Sutekh wrote:Really like that Sporting kit, something like that would be most epacceptable.
I can't picture it for us, mainly because I've completely forgotten who our sponsor isHendo wrote:Has a green panel on the back. The simple plain white shirt of 2005/2006 will always be my favourite away kit for some reason!SCIAG wrote:Tbh I’m more interested in away kits because they’re so unpredictable.
Some faves:
- African Violet (by far our best)
- Red with gold trim
- Black and grey hoops
- White with green trim (09/10)
- Black with red trim (10/11, 13/14 or ideally 14/15)
Not faves:
- orange
- yellow
- White
- plain black or black and blue - basically anything black without either red or hoops
- sky blue
- red with blue trim
Think black with orange trim could work, particularly with orange pinhoops. Or really just anything with hoops automatically gets bonus points for me.
Found these two in the loft yesterdaySCIAG wrote:Tbh I’m more interested in away kits because they’re so unpredictable.
