May prove to be a bit confusing on the pitch too, where looking down at the ball under pressure, with a split second to see ot the corner of your eye to pass to a team-mate you have to contend with half your team being blue and white horizontal stripes or being totally white.... !

Still, the front looks good. And to battle any pedants with an equally pedantic point, there *are* hoops on the sleeves so we're still the hoops.

I think that you will find that it is referred to as a band and not a hoop.
