Pleased for Tim - I know he gets a bit of stick and some of it is deserved but the bloke absolutely loves RFC and is, IMHO, a key part of the experience of being a Reading fan (media wise at least)

Some people moan about Tim's passionate (alright slightly biaised as well!) commentary. But if they want neutral and dead, listen to a different station not the club's local radio station.

As far as I'm concerned it's great to hear that passion and listening to his highlights after games brings the memories and excitement flooding back. That's particularly the case with games like the away leg of the Cardiff playoff game last season (who can ever forget how he greeted Shane Long's goal?) and yesterday's clinching of promotion against Forest.

Keep up the good work Tim - and Mick, you do a great job as the counter-balance/straight man/voice of reason. e.g. Tim talking of the PL next season and you pointing out that there is still 11 minutes to go!

+1 for the Dellor camp. I don't get to hear him too often as I'm usually at games but as stated above he clearly comes across as a fan. People need to get over his accent. So, he's posh? Really? I'd rather have Dellor articulating in his "plummy" voice than listening to some illiterate tongue tied scrote trying to describe the action to me. He's local, he's a fan. What's not to like about the bloke?

I'd also rather listen to Dellor, who at least has some idea what he's talking about, than the risible "Peachy". Really, feck off. You've no idea what you're on about when it comes to football. Let's have Nikki Whiteman on talking about what Jason Roberts has in his washbag. Oh... he doesn't have one. Great radio that! Washbag.. btw... wtf?

If the team are serving up Watford or Stevebage-esque performances then I want him getting upset and telling us how bad it is

I like his voice, and his commentary is pretty decent as far as local radio stations go.

His punditry/journalistic 'prowess' however are dreadful. I loved his article about how McDermott is absolutely 100% dead on guaranteed to leave for Wolves, even though it was never going to happen in a million years. Dellor comes across an alright guy, he just knows absolutely sod all about football.
