May as well sign Luol Deng thenHitchytwo wrote:Lower West wrote:Coopers days are numbered at RFC. Hasn't good what Stam requires. Reminds me of Flint at Brizzle City. I completely trust stams judgement on the defenders. He must know what a 'hidden gem' of a centerback looks like, based on the Moore and Blackett signing.
I agree although he has got the advantage of height. There are not many centerbacks in the championship as tall as cooper. For that reason alone I would keep him at least on the bench.
Don't we could afford his wages of 18 million a seasonWinston Smith wrote:May as well sign Luol Deng thenHitchytwo wrote:Lower West wrote:

Along with the MK Dons league cup game this season.genome wrote:I saw about 15 games last season and Cooper made a catastrophic mistake (leading to a goal, goalscoring opportunity or penalty) in all of them.
The fee we will get for Danny Williams in a week or so will pay for it, don't worry.LoyalRoyal22 wrote:I hope this outlay is because of the new ownership, because the club really are not in a position to be spending £2-£3m on a new player, if everything I have heard & read is to be believed.
If this isn't from the chinese its just more debt for the club.
I reckon he's a long-term replacement for McShane, whose deal finishes this summer. I can't seem them offering macca anything more than a one year deal given he's turned 31. And even then it would be as cover.Winston Smith wrote:So what's the line up going to be with Ilori in the team?
Who is the loser in this signing?

Moore (or maybe Gunter?) as captain next season....
Stam won't drop the club captain. Blackett will be the one to come out, or Ilori might sit in front of the defence as he's good with the ball.LoyalRoyal22 wrote:muirinho wrote:I reckon he's a long-term replacement for McShane, whose deal finishes this summer. McShane is not out of contract this summer, he signed a three year deal when he signed
I think we are likely to switch to three at the back, but if not, I would imagine McShane would miss out.
He dropped him against Derbygenome wrote:Stam won't drop the club captain. Blackett will be the one to come out, or Ilori might sit in front of the defence as he's good with the ball.LoyalRoyal22 wrote:muirinho wrote:
