What's most dissapointing is we didn't look like scoring all game . Total lack of courage and bravery . When it came down to penalties there was only going to be one winner.

I have to agree with that. Embarrassing from the traveling fans to be honest. Not staying for the presentation is also lacking any class. Dismal support.

Frustrating end to the season but at least I don't feel like we were robbed or anything

We weren't great, neither were Huddersfield. Pretty dull game and both teams cancelled each other out. Rightfully not confident with our penalties, felt Stam was too defensive in ET knowing we are rubbish at them.

Williams and the 3 CBs immense. If that's the performance Williams leaves us on then good luck to him

Need to keep the bulk of the team together, keep Stam, make a few additions and get over this quickly - then no reason we shouldn't be decent next season

Just got home from work. Absolutely shattered by this news.

The only thing I take solace in is the last time we lost at Wembley we ended up winning the league the next season.

From everything I have read it seems the better team today ended up winning it. I was just hoping we didn't lose on a flukish goal or penalties. Oh, well. Worst fears realized. I really hate play-off finals.

They were maybe very slightly better. Very little in it, and neither keeper barely made a save. Neither team really 'deserved' to win

Absolutely pathetic how I payed £70 to get in the standing section and then had to sit for the whole game because of those plastics sat down behind me who forced me to sit. If you're going to be stupid and sit in the standing section then don't ruin the game for everyone else

Hurts like hell right now, but of all the other teams in or around promotion/playoffs i begrudge them their success the least. Their fans have been the least crappy and the team has done it deservedly without being dirty. Good luck to Huddersfield, they're going to get raped just as hard as we would have done in the big league.
