So no Ejaria then and it’s beginning to look questionable we will get MiazgawindermereROYAL wrote:Understand #LFC are ready to sell Ovie Ejaria this summer, as opposed to loaning him.
Reading had hoped to get him back, but Reds believe they can get around £3m and have had Championship interest, including from Brentford.
Really? Source? Or just the unfounded irrational pessimism that comes with supporting a football team?Zip wrote:So no Ejaria then and it’s beginning to look questionable we will get MiazgawindermereROYAL wrote:Understand #LFC are ready to sell Ovie Ejaria this summer, as opposed to loaning him.

It’s pessimism on my part. We were being told Miazga had his medical and would be announced this morning. Nowt. One by one the loanees are drifting away. When you think what we spunked away two years ago it’s very frustrating.WestYorksRoyal wrote:Really? Source? From CF on Twitter, Ejaria could still happen. They haven't received any concrete bids yet so we'll have to wait and see
Paul also said Oliveira was a done deal too and I don’t think he’s an AEK fan.Hound wrote:Well if they were waiting for Ejaria, that ain’t happening any time soon
Looks like PaultheRoyal was itk again
And he said Miazga is a done deal
We would have got Oliveira on a free.WestYorksRoyal wrote:Apparently asking price £3m. Peanuts for a player of that quality. I believe Oliveira would have been same ball park. And we spunked £7m on Aluko and who knows what on players like Mannone and Edwards. Gourlay should never be allowed near a football club again.![]()
Sounds like it basically was pending outs, but those outs didn't come and Oliveira got tired of waiting. I don't think that hurts Pete's reliability rating.Zip wrote:Paul also said Oliveira was a done deal too and I don’t think he’s an AEK fan.Hound wrote:Well if they were waiting for Ejaria, that ain’t happening any time soon

3m is a good price for him but we simply don’t have that money for a player in that, or any position. Not when we can tap up Chelsea or Arsenal for another loan I expectZip wrote:It’s pessimism on my part. We were being told Miazga had his medical and would be announced this morning. Nowt. Ejaria for 3 million is a very good deal.
That’s what we offered for Ejaria but Liverpool seem to want to sell him rather than agree another loan which is fair enough.windermereROYAL wrote:A loan with a obligation to buy could be an option, but should we go down I doubt he would want to stay here in L1.
