yes, but utterly unforced error as far as I could see.WestYorksRoyal wrote:Haven't seen, was it a pretty clearcut penalty?

So hilarious 1-0 win it is.
See Sam Smith, less 3-4 years of experience. So yeah, pretty much as you said.WestYorksRoyal wrote:Hearing a few reports that Wareham put in a decent shift and didn't look out of his depth.
He was ok, lightweight but did a jobEsteban wrote:WestYorksRoyal wrote:Hearing a few reports that Wareham put in a decent shift and didn't look out of his depth.
He did very well. Stole the ball back many times, held it up well and distributed it well. We all see the game differently, but for my money, he was really good. If he can improve from today's (very good) performance we won't miss Smith.WestYorksRoyal wrote:Hearing a few reports that Wareham put in a decent shift and didn't look out of his depth.
Happy birthday xArmadillo Roadkill wrote:Good performance.
I was saying before the game a tight win with the winner right at the end would be the best birthday present I could hope for. And that, dear friends, is exactly what happened.
Michael Craig and Harvey Knibbs were the outstanding players for me. Garcia maybe the only player who worried me at times.
Loved the intricate passing in triangles, the reverse passes, the switching of wings and the overlaps, the cameo from Kelvin E, it was getting very close to my favourite type off football.
I think that was a really important result. After a run of bad results to win against a pretty decent Bolton side was vital. Came away very happy. We're far from out of the woods, but you cannot fault the effort.

51st game in all comps and 707 days, so less than 2 years.Royal_jimmy wrote:Only our first penalty in a home game for over 2 years. Ironic it comes the first game after Sam Smith left

We’re in the second year without a pen
Didn’t we have this with whether games on Sat/Tuesday/sat are 3 games in a week ?
