As for you having spent more time and money on following Reading, whilst I don't normally agree with those who think that because they've been to more games they're a better fan, on this occasion, I would just state that I have followed RFC home and away for 25 years and in our family alone we have 10 season tickets.

Have to say your mate was a bit unlucky. Of all the train carraiges he chose to mouth off about how he went to all these northern away games in the 70's/80's he chose probably the only one where there were people who actually did and knew it was all bollox.

Goderz seemed impressed though.

900+ Reading games for me against a few piss ups with a friendly thrown in and some premiership away games - no contest.
