Oster is getting on well. has only really played in the reserves, carling cup and as a sub at the moment, because of the other right wingers we have (although he has been tried on the center of midfield too). each of the games ive seen him come on, he's played well!

anyway youve got the three guniees once you come out of the train station on your right (away fans usually go there) but youve also got plenty of others on one of the main roads in the town (friar st) - plenty along there. you def made the best decision in regards to visiting us or pompey - we are much nicer!

About 3 Hrs 25-30 mins You will need to change once from Liverpool, either at Coventry, Birmingham New St or Stafford depending on which trains you take.

I imagine you'll be going to London and changing, though I'm not sure.

It probably easier to change a Birmingham New street than go into London, you'd end up at Euston and have to get to Paddington.

just outside the station exit is the Three Guineas, which is the unofficial away fans pub. then it's just outside by the taxi rank for the bus to get you to the stadium, you can't really go wrong once you get off the platforms to be honest.

And Reading station is a big one. It's because the Great Western Railway was built from Reading outwards. There must be some history teachers/ local historians on here - help me out!

Yes that's right, Brunel was a Reading fan so for a long time the railway just went to Reading nowhere else, bits were only added when he had to move house to other parts of the country.

Not on 23rd December. She'd need to change somewhere in the midlands.

Cheapest available is two singles; a "Value advance single B" coming down, and a "Value advance single C" going back, works out to £20.75 (assuming YP railcard - and if latchford hasn't already got one the savings she'd make on this trip alone would make it worthwhile). Of course, that would involve leaving on the 06:33 from Lime Street!

all everton fans go to pubs on away days, like seeing the atmosphere and normally have a laugh with other fans, no harm

If that's the Virgin Trains service from Aberdeen to Southampton, It used to run late often as it has a long route though many different regions meaning plenty of oppourtunities to be effected by delays.

When running late it occasionally bypasses Reading all together and takes the line straignt though Reading West (not stopping), next stop Basingstoke.
