I'm disappointed that he's been sacked, but not surprised.

If he's lost the dressing room then it can only go one way. That's disapointing considering that the team spirit he instilled last season was crucial in us staying up but tactically we seem to have the same issues cropping up each week, and no obvious plan in place to turn that round.

I think the consensus of opinion re Gomes will be along the lines of "lovely bloke, out of his depth"

I'm genuinely sorry for him, but really hope Bowen doesn't get his old mate Hughes in, as he is an integral part of the manager merry go round and will be only in it for himself. Much better to get a young hungry manager in the Ainsworth mould.

I get the impression the whole thing nosedived after the Charlton game with the team when he openly criticized Joao and Puscas after dropping them. Probably wasn't his best move.
