Bradford are in league 2 so this won’t be happening.Nameless wrote:WIth Bowen’s mentor and mate Mark Hughes now in charge at Bradford surely we can expect a flood of top Yorkshire teenage talent to be heading our way on loan....
I hope it's true. Rinse Forest like we did with Leicester for Matt MillsYorkshireRoyal99 wrote:Yeah I have seen that. Wasn't overly impressed with Holmes last season, but got obvious talent and potential at his best and it would be a shame to lose another good academy graduate as well.blythspartan wrote:Seen rumours of Holmes to Forest again. I know there is already a topic about this but at this rate we might go into preseason with zero players.
His wages aren't massive at all so we don't save much there, only on what we've offered him now should he sign, but we would receive a small compensation fee due to his age which might be useful enough for us in some ways. It would also open up another place for a more experienced CB with some pace to cover our weaknesses in that area from last season as well, silver linings.
Might be tricky seeing as Holmes isn't under contract from what I recall.Royal_jimmy wrote:I hope it's true. He is out of contract isn’t he?gazzer, loyal royal wrote:Understand we are in talks for Baba to come back on another season long loan.
It would be great to see him back. Also, I believe the next AFCON is June 23 so we wouldn’t lose him at an important time again.gazzer, loyal royal wrote:Understand we are in talks for Baba to come back on another season long loan.
No signed a new one with Chelsea last year. Drinkwater is thoughZip wrote:He is out of contract isn’t he?gazzer, loyal royal wrote:Understand we are in talks for Baba to come back on another season long loan.
Is there a difference between a loanee and a player on a one year contract ?Snowflake Royal wrote:He was ok.
I don't mind loans to fill a gap. Not keen on them long term for the same position.
Don't really want many of last season’s loanees back, certainly not as loanees. Break the cycle of poor performance and not giving a shit.
New names, new faces, new start please.
Not really. Could be recalled at a push but even that’s rareNameless wrote:Is there a difference between a loanee and a player on a one year contract ?Snowflake Royal wrote:He was ok.
