I appeciate the 5 defeats in a row is a bit but Citeh haven't beaten anyone in the league by more than 1 goal since August and they've only beaten 2 teams currently in the top half of the table this season.

We all know that top v bottom experience well, being Reading fans, and suddenly seeing Mr Charity putting in an appearance. Liverpool are also possibly the one elite side more than capable of falling into that trap.

Awful game. Liverpool can’t get going as Southampton have got everyone back nearly all the time and no team seems able to make anything of a well parked bus.

And yes that “penalty” was outside the box and the Soton player dived into the box. Yet another VAR screw up IMO.

I thought it was just me being biased but it did look outside the box.
What I didn't get was the discussion saying that the decision was a matter of fact (outside or in)but would also rest with the ref's on field decision.

Am very pleased that in the end it didn't affect the result and the Super Reds go marching on-just Real Madrid and Man City to come in the week ahead.
