Has anyone found an iPad friendly link yet? All of the aforementioned appear to use FlashPlayer -which is not compatible with IOS.

Had a great live feed for the stoke game, whats they likelyhood of someone finding one for tomorrow night? Is everyone trying to find a pub that shows ESPN? or signing up? or trying to find a feed?

Read this thread and you will find most if not all the streams available. I tend to search 10-15 min. before kick off as thats when most of the feeds start to show up. By the by, why not go to the game. That must be the best experience.

Dont know if your aware but the games in manchester, kind of a 7 hour round trip and i have a job unlike you, so cant commit to a monday night in manchester. but yes thankyou for stateing the obvious that i can search around for feeds myself 10mins before kickoff

Dont get cheeky on me... I am a househusband for 2 girls. That is considered work by those who have children.... (9-3 is spent watching soaps, Ebay etc...)

Most of the feeds do not show up before 10 mins before the game. I have been doing this since Iraqi goals was around. To save you the trouble of reading previous posts, the main feeds are Wigwiz, frontrow and P2P. I forget the exact names, but usually end up with one of them. The last couple of times I have found one that blocks ads, which is useful.

Mate of mine basically has an ambition to become a house husband. TBF to him his wife does earn more than him so you could argue it's a wise thing to do.

Much as I'd love to give up work I'm not sure I could do it though - how do you find it redscot

It is hard work from 15:00 until 19:30 when the children go to bed. Also I stint in the morning from 7:15-9:00 when they have to be dressed, feed, and walked to school. (2 miles downhill.)
If I was to have a paid job it would cost more in childcare etc than I would take home after tax. The other half is the sort of person you rely on if you have been in a car crash and parts of your body needs seeing to.
Likewise with your mate, as a family it might make sense for him to stay at home. Income after tax, bills related to work (like car/public transport etc) childcare bills, often makes the "profit" small. If he could find some part time work, he would be on to a winner, but part time work that fits with children is not easy to find. I do a bit of unpaid work (publishing books), which used to be full time before the children arrived.
As for yourself if you look at your outgoings, cutting out a job means also giving up the second car/pubs/expensive holidays, etc. You can save a lot of money, by not working.

Massively depends on the nature of your work though I think, yes the "profit" now may be small, but as 2-0 andapenalty has said, the opportunity cost of giving up work for 5 years at what could be the golden point in your career might mean any future earnings are severely restricted.

That said, it's by no means purely a financial decision and if you can make it work then it's got to be worth it.

I have got a good live feed on VIPBox each time I have wanted one this season. The best link is the one that goes to Fox Sports. English commentary and often HD picture.

That is a fair point. (Unless you push your offspring into high paid jobs for "their" benefit...)
But if you work in a "dead end" job, then giving it up for 5 years should not make much difference.
The important thing is to invest time in the children while they are young so you do not end up as a stranger if you end up divorcing.
P.S. Is it really not possible to have a discussion without other people interrupting...
